Island Travel - Nicaragua!
Everyday people travel all over the world to explore the wonderful world of the Caribbean. Whether if you are traveling alone, with a spouse, or family, you are sure to have a great time! One place in particular known as the land of lakes an volcanoes, Nicaragua has the second largest rainforest in the Americas and is the largest country in Central America. A unique fact about Nicaragua is that its the only country in Latin America to be colonized by the Spanish and the British! This makes this country alone to have two diverse cultures Spain and Britain. Half of the country is Spanish speaking and has adopted the Spanish culture in South America while the other half is English speaking which has adapted British along with African and indigenous cultures such as Honduras. Make sure to go visit both sides of the country to get the best of both worlds. When visiting, sight seeing is always #1 on a traveler's list. Little Corn Island is a far from the big city, just peace and sandy beaches. So if you are looking for somewhere secluded this little island is perfect for you. To keep yourself busy on the small island, just swim with the hammerhead sharks and bike ride. If you are a nature lover, Rio San Juan has plenty to explore as it was a spot for pirates as the path to riches.
Music is a huge part of the country. The music has a unique mix of European, African, and Indigenous music. Also what's music with dancing! You can learn the different forms of dance such as Reggae, Soca, and the Garofona dance Punta! What's a trip without trying new foods? Gallo Pinto is a national dish that Nicaragua eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Gallo pinto is made up of red beans, white rice, and diced onions cooked with coconut oil or a splash of coconut milk to make it creamier. Another traditional dish is Quesillo which is a popular street food. It is made up of a tortilla wrap with home made white cheese, pickled onions and cream. So whenever you come to the Caribbean make sure to visit the diverse country Nicaragua. It ill be an experience you will remember for a lifetime.

I did not know that Nicaragua was colonized by the Spanish and the British and it was the only country to do so. I like how you included how the Spanish and the British colonization led to 2 diverse cultures. The image you included could have been more integrated a little better with the text. Overall it was a good read and taught me more about the food and culture of Nicaragua!
